Akshara Foundation creates comprehensive, scalable, replicable, and cost-effective solutions to improve pre-school and primary education across Karnataka, India. Its approach focuses on community ownership and community-driven solutions to address education challenges and drive positive change.Akshara offers a range of in-school and community-based programs designed to improve literacy and numeracy among pre-school and K-7 students. The organization also aims to increase the capacity and efficacy of teachers and schools. Its technology platform encourages everyone involved in a child's education to participate and help improve schools and education. Through the Karnataka Learning Partnership, citizens, nonprofits, and officials galvanize community-led ownership of the public schooling system.
