Odisha government rolls out "world's largest" slum land rights project

On May 7 in Chhatrapur, Ganjam, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik formally handed over land titles to 2,000 urban slum dwellers as part of the world's largest slum land titling initiative. Among those in attendance for this important event were Ratan N. Tata, Chairman of Tata Trust, global architect Lord Norman Foster, and Omidyar Network's Roopa Kudva.
