Ruchi is the senior manager on the Strategy and Impact team at Omidyar Network India, and is responsible for measuring our portfolio’s impact, taking a holistic view on our strategy, and ensuring that Omidyar Network India is continually learning in order to make better investments going forward.
Ruchi has spent the better part of a decade working in a variety of diverse industries – consulting, private-equity, and early-stage for-profit and non-profit enterprises.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network India, she set up a greenfield factory for her family’s plastic manufacturing business, worked on healthcare diligence as an entrepreneur in residence at SeaLink Capital Partners, and scaled operations at two early-stage organisations – Healthspring, a healthcare company, and Teach For India, an education-focussed non-profit. She started her career as an associate consultant with Bain & Company, where she was a part of the Private Equity Group and also volunteered with Inspire (which provides consulting services to non-profit organisations focussed on education and youth development.)
Ruchi has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
