Baani is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments across Financial Inclusion, Emerging Tech and Education.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network India, Baani was as an Associate Vice President in the Corporate Finance practice of KPMG India, where she focussed on mid-market strategic M&A and private equity fundraise transactions.
She also worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions team of BMR Advisors, a boutique consulting firm started by ex-Anderson partners, where she advised domestic and multinational clients from deal origination to closure. She has over 5 years of experience in domestic and cross border M&A.
Baani graduated from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant.
